Twas the night before Easter................

And Olivia was busy dying eggs all over the house! Well really JUST the dining room but that didn't go with the intro................ She was SO eggcited to tackle egg dying for the FIRST time this year!!

Step one: carefully choose JUST the right egg!!

Concentrate, sticking out your tongue DOES help, while you carefully position the egg to be placed in the color of your choice.

Check NUMEROUS times to make sure the color is JUST right!

Carefully remove the egg and let it dry.

Make SURE that you show off just a little bit!!

And there you have gorgeous eggs made by a gorgeous girl!
She had a blast and did NOT spill any egg dye at all! I can't even say that about myself! Y'all know what a klutz I am! I was COVERED with the stuff!

Chattanooga

The room at the Mayor's Mansion. It was beautiful!

The Mayor's Mansion B&B

This painting of Jimmy Carter just amused me

The pedestrian bridge. Probably my favorite place there!

For some reason I found this Starbucks that was located RIGHT outside the gates of Rock City to be very amusing! Yeah I'm wierd I know!

The eagle @ the overlook at RockCity

The new bridge over the TN river

Turtles on a log at the aquarium. I just liked the way they were all lined up!

Gators!

Butterfly garden!

We spent the weekend in Chattanooga recently. It is absolutely one of my FAVORITE cites. We stayed in a beautiful b&b called The Mayors Mansion. If you have never stayed in a B&B this should be the one you try first! It is an amazingly beautiful 18,000 sq ft Victorian home. Everything from the room to the food was perfect. We also spent time doing the usual "touristy" stuff; the aquarium, Rock City, museums, and, of course, the pedestrian bridge over the TN River.

Callaway Gardens

Aren't these tulips the PRETTIEST color!!

What a gorgeous view!

And another!

Cute topiaries for Easter!

And last but not least, me enjoying the day!

I spent the day at Callaway Gardens a couple of weekends ago. It was lovely. I had only been once before and that was for the Christmas lights SOOOOOOOO it really was like going for the first time! : ) The gardens and grounds were LOVELY! the butterflies were my FAVORITE. The best part of the day though, had to be going to the chapel just as a wedding was occurring. What a special place to get married!

Valentines Day.........really late!

Just a quick update! Had both the princesses for Valentines day! We had a blast! Their favorite part was the heart shaped pizza! They did NOT believe me until they actually SAW it! LOL! There was NO better way to spend Valentines day than with my two favorite little sweethearts!
